Marks you can read off a tape.
A conduit bending calculator for electricians and apprentices: offsets, stub-ups and saddles in inch fractions.
From the numbers to the marks
Enter the rise, the angle and the distance to your first bend. Conduit Bend gives the marks to put on the pipe, the distance between them and the shrink, in fractions you can read off a tape.
Offsets at 10, 22 1/2, 30, 45 and 60 degrees, 90 degree stub-ups and the 3 point saddle are included from the start. Stub-ups use a take-up preset for 1/2, 3/4 and 1 inch EMT hand benders, or a take-up you type in. A large keypad has 1/2, 1/4, 1/8 and 1/16 keys, and a setting switches to centimeters.
See the formula behind every mark
Every result shows its formula. A result that uses a multiplier says whether it is the field multiplier printed on bender charts or exact geometry, and shows what the other model gives, so you can compare it with your bender’s guide.
When a bend cannot be made, the app says why and gives the nearest value that works, instead of a negative mark.
A bend sheet for the whole stick
Lay out a whole stick, 10 feet unless you change it. Every mark is measured from the end, shrink is carried through the earlier bends, and the sheet checks that it fits on the stick.
Back up and restore your data, or export a bend sheet as text, to a file you choose. The calculators, bend sheets and backups need no signal and no account, and your sheets stay on your phone.
One optional purchase
Offsets, stub-ups, the 3 point saddle, one saved bend sheet, and backup and export are included from the start. Pro is one optional, one-time purchase that adds 4 point saddles, kicks, rolling offsets and parallel offsets, pipe sizes above 1 inch with IMC and rigid take-up presets, and unlimited saved bend sheets. The bends included from the start keep working without Pro. No subscription, ads or app account.
A calculation aid
Conduit Bend is a calculation aid. Verify every mark against local code and your bender manufacturer’s marks, and try it on a scrap piece before you bend a stick. It does not give code advice.
