Your bread notebook

Hydration, salt, oil, sugar and prefermented flour are percentages of total flour. Prefermented flour is the flour inside the starter, not the starter’s total weight. Starter hydration describes water divided by flour inside that starter.

For example, 500 g total flour, 75% hydration, 20% prefermented flour, 100% starter hydration and 2% salt needs 400 g added flour, 275 g added water, 200 g starter and 10 g salt: 885 g total dough.

Keep each bake’s history

Start a bake to preserve its formula. Editing a saved formula does not change old bakes. Record stages manually and edit their times, temperatures and notes. Repeat a bake with a change note to keep its family connection for comparison. The app does not predict fermentation or send background reminders.

Keep your records

Use Settings to create JSON backups. Import merges new records and skips identical copies. A conflicting version rejects the import without changing your notebook; keep both files. CSV is readable bake history and cannot be restored. Purchase and reviewer access are never included in backups.

Permanent Pro

Pro adds multiple saved formulas and comparisons between bakes in the same formula family. If checkout is interrupted, use Restore purchase. Do not start another purchase while one is pending. Use the Google Play account that purchased Pro.

Storage trouble

A save failure leaves the prior saved record intact and retains the editor for retry. Check free device storage and close other Loaf Revision windows. Do not clear app data to fix a save problem.
