Rate Log by PierDo · Effective October 2026 · Version 1.0.0
Android package com.pierdo.ratelog
Your watches and readings
Rate Log keeps your watches, readings, notes, positions, regulation sessions and settings on your device, in the app’s local storage and IndexedDB. It has no account, no ads, no analytics SDK and no server of ours. We do not receive your watches, readings or anything else you enter.
The phone clock
Each reading is the difference between your watch and your phone’s clock at the moment you tap. Rate Log reads that clock on the device. It makes no network time request, and it does not use your location, microphone, camera or contacts.
Files you choose
Backups (JSON), CSV exports and the plain-text watchmaker summary are written only to a file you choose, in the place you choose. While the file is being written the app makes a temporary copy in its private cache and removes it afterwards. Keep exported files private if your watch names or notes are personal.
Clearing the app’s data or uninstalling removes the notebook on this device; it does not remove files you exported. Delete all data in the More tab clears the notebook on this device and keeps your verified purchase.
Purchases
The only network use is Google Play and RevenueCat, to show the Rate Log Lab price, buy Lab and restore a purchase. Nothing is sent until you open Rate Log Lab in the More tab, use one of its purchase buttons, Restore purchase or Check purchase status, or an upgrade offer opens: an offer asks Google Play and RevenueCat for the price when it opens. They process purchase identifiers, an anonymous app-user identifier and transaction information to give you permanent Lab access. Your watches and readings are not sent to them.
Purchases and reviewer access are not part of Rate Log backup files. Google Play keeps its own purchase records. See Google’s privacy policy and RevenueCat’s privacy policy.
Rating prompt
Rate Log may from time to time ask for a rating with Google’s in-app review dialog. Google decides whether it appears. The app reads nothing from it: it cannot see whether you rated or what you wrote.
More from PierDo
The More from PierDo row only opens pierdo.net in your browser when you tap it. The app sends nothing with it.
Purchase-related data requests
Email pierdo.dev@gmail.com, name Rate Log and describe your request. Never send passwords or payment-card details. Remove the watches and readings on your device as described above.
Contact and changes
Send support and privacy questions to pierdo.dev@gmail.com. Policy changes will show a new effective date and material changes will be reflected in app and store disclosures.
