Cook Clock by PierDo · Effective October 14, 2026 · Version 1.0.0
Android package com.pierdo.cookclock
Your cooks and settings
Cook Clock keeps your planned cooks, finished-cook history, your own cook log, custom cuts, smoker profiles and settings on your device, in the app’s local storage and IndexedDB. It has no account, no ads, no analytics SDK and no server of ours. We do not receive your cooks or anything else you enter.
Times and the clock
Cook Clock plans backward from the serve time you enter, using the phone’s clock and time zone on the device. It makes no network time request, and it does not use your location, microphone, camera or contacts. Every time it shows is a planning estimate, not a promise of results.
Reminders
If you turn a reminder on, Cook Clock asks Android for permission to show notifications and schedules the reminder on this phone. Nothing about a reminder leaves the phone, and a reminder is removed when you delete the cook or turn it off. Reminders can arrive a few minutes late when the phone saves battery. Cook Clock does not ask for exact-alarm access.
Files you choose
Backups (JSON), CSV exports and the plain-text plan are written only to a file you choose, in the place you choose. While the file is being written the app makes a temporary copy in its private cache and removes it afterwards. Keep exported files private if your cook names or notes are personal.
Clearing the app’s data or uninstalling removes your cooks from this device; it does not remove files you exported. Delete all data in the More tab clears your cooks on this device and keeps your verified purchase.
Purchases
The only network use is Google Play and RevenueCat, to show the Cook Clock Pro price, buy Cook Clock Pro and restore a purchase. Nothing is sent until you open Cook Clock Pro in the More tab, use one of its purchase buttons, Restore purchase or Check purchase status, or an upgrade offer opens: an offer asks Google Play and RevenueCat for the price when it opens. They process purchase identifiers, an anonymous app-user identifier and transaction information to give you permanent Cook Clock Pro access. Your cooks are not sent to them.
Purchases and reviewer access are not part of Cook Clock backup files. Google Play keeps its own purchase records. See Google’s privacy policy and RevenueCat’s privacy policy.
Rating prompt
Cook Clock may from time to time ask for a rating with Google’s in-app review dialog. Google decides whether it appears. The app reads nothing from it: it cannot see whether you rated or what you wrote.
Links
The USDA safe temperature link and the More from PierDo row only open a web page in your browser when you tap them. The app sends nothing with them.
Purchase-related data requests
Email pierdo.dev@gmail.com, name Cook Clock and describe your request. Never send passwords or payment-card details. Remove the cooks on your device as described above.
Contact and changes
Send support and privacy questions to pierdo.dev@gmail.com. Policy changes will show a new effective date and material changes will be reflected in app and store disclosures.
